Firstly the small station is quaint and nice. That’s about it. The cost to ride the short 10minute journey is appalling, I can go to a proper steam railway and pay the same cost for a full day ticket at many other places in the uk. It’s about a 10/12 minute round trip. There is a small wooden fort halfway which you can get off and play for a while with the kids. That’s about it. There’s some shops that aren’t associated with the railway also.
I wouldn’t go back as I don’t like being ripped off. It’s a shame as it could be much better
