When we arrived we were quickly greeted by friendly staff and the lovely hotel manager. There was parking included in our stay which given the location was a huge bonus. Our room was modern and clean and we had a lovely anniversary display waiting for us. The location couldn’t have been better. Right opposite Windsor castle and in the midst of many shops, bars and restaurants but it was still so calming and relaxing inside the hotel. We had some drinks and snacks at the bar (leaf) which were reasonably priced and good value for money. We had an amazing romantic getaway and now can’t wait to return as a family as the hotel itself and the location are perfect (noticed a little play park beside the hotel too!).

Just returned from a fantastic weekend break at this lovely hotel. It was our wedding anniversary and the hotel left us a really nice card and fruit plate to help us celebrate. The staff were all very helpful and polite. The room was modern, spacious and very clean. The decor around the hotel is just beautiful. Would definitely recommend.

We stayed for a couple of midweek nights. Superb staff. The staff really do make it from reception to the kitchen staff, Andy making illuminous orange Aperol (just how it should be) and great gin recommendations. Everyone at the hotel is approachable and friendly. We parked on site £30 per night standard charge in Windsor. Our room was a superior room second floor at the front of the hotel looking on the high street and castle. Rooms have A/C and secondary glazing. We heard the bin wagon early doors but so what it was a beautiful day so great alarm call haha. Food at the leaf restaurant is excellent and Great in the make shift courtyard. Very Covid secure, good processes in place. 2 min walk into the town and 5 minutes to the train stations. Loads of lovely walks minutes from the door and 1 hr into London Waterloo on the train. Easy road access from major motorways. We will be back. Superb stay. If only it was longer

Room tip: Parking is via Bachelors Arce

I had the absolute pleasure of staying at the Castle Hotel for 5 weeks, and I was honestly so sad to leave. The rooms are amazing; extremely clean, comfortable and well presented...but for me the main part of the stay was the friendliness and professionalism of the entire staffing team. Never have I felt more welcome in a hotel than at the Castle Hotel Windsor! The term 'above and beyond' doesn't do them justice with just how inviting and helpful they were during my stay. They were always willing to listen to and accommodate any of my extra needs (where possible) to the point where they even bought a freestanding basketball hoop in order to give me a chance to play some basketball!! The detail is truly in the little things, and as a result I've already got booked in my next stay! I'm so looking forward to returning and seeing some friendly and familiar faces again x

We stayed here for 3 nights for our wedding anniversary and from start to finish the staff were unbelievably attentive, knowledgeable, so friendly and did genuinely seem happy to help. Nothing was too much trouble. For example, when we asked the direction to the restaurant, the guy at reception (please excuse my ignorance at not knowing his name), didn't just point us in the right direction... He took us there.. I know it's a small thing but it makes a massive difference.. so staff excellent... Tick. Now to the room, which was great, apart from there wasn't any pillow protectors on any of the pillows and the room was a little lacking in natural lighting due to a smallish window, with a tree just outside. Apart from that it was great. Nice hot powerful shower. Big, good quality bathrobes and massive bed.. food was of very high standard from the bar menu to the restaurant. Drinks were a little expensive, but this is Windsor and a stone's throw from London, so you would expect this. 4 double gin and tonics were £47.... Not a complaint at all, just be ready for it.. the thing the I was a little bothered about was the carpark fee.. £25 per night. So that immediately added £75 to our stay. I've never personally had experience of a carpark charging, especially this amount... All in all, we really enjoyed our stay, even if it did cost a second mortgage, it was well worth it and we would like to thank all of the staff for making our stay so special..
