Owner description: Aston Villa Football Club are at the very heart of English football with a majestic name and a decorated past serving as a shining light among the club’s peers. Established in 1874, we were one of the founder members of the Football League in 1888 – in fact our former director William McGregor was the man responsible for writing the letter that sparked its creation. In addition we were one of the founder members of the Premier League and have been there for the history of the competition – more than 20 years. Having won seven League Championships we have triumphed seven times in the FA Cup and have lifted the League Cup five times. We are also one of only five English teams to have won the European Cup – now more commonly known as the Champions League. Our ground, Villa Park, is globally recognised as one of the finest of its kind, its historic roots mixing perfectly with modern facilities. The stadium has hosted World Cup, European Championship and other international football matches as well as more FA Cup semi-finals than any other venue. Villa Park also holds the record of having been the only club to host England international clashes in three different centuries. We have produced four England captains and from the first capped players in 1882 to other club legends like Peter Withe and Brian Little, Villa have provided more internationals for the Three Lions than any other club. The Football Encyclopedia of 1934 famously described Aston Villa as an “outstanding football organisation” We still are today.

My company booked villa park for a conference. The room had fantastic views and was nice and clean with all technology working.

However breakfast and lunch was also provided. Which to say was extremely poor. The breakfast was just cereal and wasn't suited to
our allergy sufferers...

The lunch was the same over the few days and consisted of sandwiches, salad and potatoes. Apart from the last day which was better. The thing that got me the most is that no water was served and there was tab water on the tables. Only tea and coffee was served. Place is very cold and we were cold in the conference room.

The staff also seem very unhappy and not willing to engage or do anything extra.

The lack of security during the day was also a concern, and the parking wasn't secure but ok. Overall wouldn't book here again.

Ok honest review...

The football is hit and miss lol....

The food at functions is excellent, but match day food is awful.

Really old ground that holds tradition and love.

Great ground great team, rubbish match day food lol.
