Owner description: Aston Villa Football Club are at the very heart of English football with a majestic name and a decorated past serving as a shining light among the club’s peers. Established in 1874, we were one of the founder members of the Football League in 1888 – in fact our former director William McGregor was the man responsible for writing the letter that sparked its creation. In addition we were one of the founder members of the Premier League and have been there for the history of the competition – more than 20 years. Having won seven League Championships we have triumphed seven times in the FA Cup and have lifted the League Cup five times. We are also one of only five English teams to have won the European Cup – now more commonly known as the Champions League. Our ground, Villa Park, is globally recognised as one of the finest of its kind, its historic roots mixing perfectly with modern facilities. The stadium has hosted World Cup, European Championship and other international football matches as well as more FA Cup semi-finals than any other venue. Villa Park also holds the record of having been the only club to host England international clashes in three different centuries. We have produced four England captains and from the first capped players in 1882 to other club legends like Peter Withe and Brian Little, Villa have provided more internationals for the Three Lions than any other club. The Football Encyclopedia of 1934 famously described Aston Villa as an “outstanding football organisation” We still are today.

Staff were rude. Bought this for the family, didn't get a proper tour around the stadium as promised, seemed rushed

Brilliant stadium, lovely old style football ground, and since the Trinity Road Stand has been improved, really adds to how impressive this looks.

The Holte End was the biggest behind the goal stand in Europe whilst a standing area. Would recommend seeing a game here especially in the evening, on a busy game.

Would be easier to get tickets while in Championship too.

Always loved Villa Park after visiting way back in the '50's. Being a long time Villa fan I am a little biased, having said that it is a good stadium to visit and easy access to all seating area's, and facilities are good. Food is good in the restaurants and bars etc.

Been here many times and never disappointed with the atmosphere.
Always a good crowd which make a lot of noise.
Also easily accessible from rail stations and plenty of parking around the area also, as long as you park at one side of the ground as the other you don’t really want to be in!

To be fair the away end is better than it used to be when it was behind the goal. Getting in is a pain while they strip search EVERY fan. This is the first ground my son was ever searched at. He'd be about 10 or 11 at the time and strangely it made him feel grown up as everywhere else we'd been had not searched him. The atmosphere from the home fans is not great considering how well they travel so you don't feel intimidated at all. To be fair, once you're in the stewards are all friendly and polite unlike some grounds. Interesting fact. Villa Park has hosted more FA Cup semi finals than any other club ground in the country
