Absolutely amazing trip. We have a guided tour which lasted for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Very detailed and Madeline our tour guide was fantastic.

What I loved about this National Trust property more than others is your actually allowed to touch the objects within the houses.

Loved seeing the difference from the early properties to the later properties. The sweet shop is on the coroner so don’t forget to pick yourself some goodies up.

I have since booked the house for the August bank holiday to stop at for a birthday celebration which I’m very excited about.

I would defiantly recommend this tour so get yourself booked on and do a guided tour!

Visited the NT Back to Back Houses yesterday (Monday 25th June 2018) and took our family who were over from their home in Florida. We had the 2.00pm tour with John and it was very interesting . His knowledge and graphic descriptions of life in the 1800's and later were really good and the 90 min tour flew by. A good visit and is recommended for anyone interested in times gone by. Narrow and steep staircases are involved so only really suitable for the sure footed but our 7 year old managed it ok.

I always had a question how Back to Back is different from terraced houses that we can still find in Midlands. Pam, our tour guide, efficiently explained the story of 4 different Back to Back houses of different timelines starting from early nineteenth century. Good part of this tour is you can touch everything preserved in that house.

Had a fabulous time here. Visited with my daughter and grandsons. It bought back lots of memories as I used to live in one. It’s an eye opener for the youngsters.
