A booking was made and confirmed via Dojo and via email from the restaurant on 17th June 2024 for a table of 8 on Friday 26th July 2024 at 8pm - On arrival in Birmingham I phoned to reconfirm the booking and found the restaurant was closed for refurbishment - the gentleman on the phone stated you cant have a booking we are closed. When I said that I had a confirmation the phone was put down
Could someone not have called us to tell us they were closed so we could find an alternative venue which is not easy for 8 people on a Friday evening in Birmingham
Appalling customer service . On future trips to Birmingham was shall avoid this restaurant . Beware if making a booking

Out for a wander on a Monday evening came across the Dil Bar on Board Street in Birmingham, the surroundings were very nice. We were shown to our table ordered had to wait a little for each course as everything is cooked to order. Food was second 5o none we have ever tasted. Would recommend to everyone travelling to the city centre. So good we went back for our 36th anniversary.

Amazing service staff were polite and very attentive. Food was spot on and presented beautifully. Highly recommend.

All staff very welcoming, polite and attentive right from outside of the restaurant to the end of service. Lemon ice water boufjt over as soon as walking in. Nothing too much trouble. Food fantastic. Excellent location. Restaurant clean and nicely decorated. Calm atmosphere and relaxing music. Lots of choice of food and drinks on menu.

Made welcome as soon as we arrived by the owner . Waitress was very attentive and professional . Food was outstanding would strongly recommend you will not be disappointed. Well done to the owner for amazing restaurant .
