I have been to Victoria Square quite a few times but I did not knew there is a museum inside. Different collection. Very nice. Must take a look at museum shop.

Dippy was there so I saw him along with a thousand school kids - but the rest just seemed to be lacking - a bit disappointed really - but free and helpful staff.

We visited the museum this weekend to see dippy the dinosaur. I was really excited to see it but was underwhelmed by it. I thought more interactive aids could have been added to the exhibition to engage children more. There were a number of exhibits of taxidermy birds and skeletons of birds.

Nice place to visit if you are in the area. There are so many paintings and art on display on various floors. It is free so you can take your time and wander around.

Great if you are in Birmingham with time to spare. It's free so you don't feel obliged to see it all on one visit.
