“Fantastic! A wonderful experience.”

A beautifully restored property in the centre of Warwick. Historical charm with a modern and comfortable kitchen and bathrooms. We loved staying at EastGate. It is unique and very special.

Really outstanding location right in the centre of Warwick.Could not have wished to have stayed in a better place , we will be returning.Everything you could think of was there down to a set of scales to make my sons birthday cake, toys for my grand daughter, beds you did not want to get out of and the best chilli marmalade, one of the little touches that made us so welcome.A place I will want to return to.

“Simply the best, a luxurious treat and a historic gem in the heart of Warwick”
Reviewed 17 January 2014 for a stay in January 2014

I have stayed at The East Gate regularly over the last months, it is a fantastic retreat right in the heart of wonderful Warwick.
Bob and Sarah have spared no expense in both sympathetically restoring and then painstakingly equipping this place to the highest standards. It is immaculate and a visual treat. Everyone who has visited me there has been bowled over by the location, the building itself with all its historic significance, and the attention to detail.
This is my castle when I am in Warwickshire. Where I can retreat in splendour, with every convenience to hand, and all the facilities and attractions of Warwick literally at my gate.
The visitor book contains only superlatives.
The East Gate will remain on my "best place to stay in the UK" for a long time, I predict.

“This is the most evocative place we have ever stayed in !”
Reviewed 13 January 2014 for a stay in January 2014

Oh wow we LOVED the East gate and St Peters. Our family journeyed to Warwick for my husbands work and we took the opportunity to stay in this wonderful place. The attention to detail from Bob and Sarah in this renovation, their friendliness and the facilities provided were outstanding. It is not often that you get to stay in a place where the Earl of Warwick or Anne Neville would have walked though. In combination with a trip to Warwick Castle, this really fired our imaginations for history !
The location is great, with everything literally at your door. We hope to stay again this year ! Thanks Bob and Sarah for the chance to stay here.

“Fantastic piece of History!”
Reviewed 22 October 2013 for a stay in October 2013

I can't praise this place enough! As soon as we walked through the door we were 'wowed' by the sense of history. It really is unique. I have stayed in many, many cottages and apartments but East Gate really tops them all. The décor was totally appropriate to the building with really interesting and well chosen furniture and artwork throughout. The bathrooms were clean and the showers powerful! The kitchen was well equipped and the beds were so comfortable! East Gate is easy to get to - literally minutes from the station and so close to all the lovely restaurants in the town. Am telling all my friends about this place! Bob and Sarah were really welcoming and it was lovely to hear and see how they have restored this beautiful place!
