The hosts Karen and Nigel are genuine caring hosts who will go the extra mile to give you a pleasant stay.
The location of the property is ideal to explore the area with good links to the road network situated on the Warwickshire - Worcestershire border. Also the Cotswolds are within easy reach.
The property has all the facilities that anyone could require and my wife and I would definitely stay there again.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in The Pumphouse and would highly recommend a stay to anybody looking to explore the local area. The Pumphouse was spotlessly clean and very well appointed with comfortable furniture and a well equipped kitchen. We were made to feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble, there was even a delicious cake waiting for us on our arrival! The cottage is ideally situated for exploring Stratford, the Cotswolds, Worcester and Warwick, all of which are easily accessible in less than 30 minutes.
We stayed in the pump house over the Christmas and New Year period, on arrival the Cottage was decorated ready for the festive season which was a lovely touch that we really appreciated.
The cottage is in a quiet rural setting, perfect for accessing many major Towns including Shakespeares town of Stratford upon Avon
The pump house was heated well and had all creature comforts needed for a comfortable stay.
Exceptionally clean and well maintained
All in all perfect for our needs and would use again
Thanks to Karen and Nigel for an enjoyable stay
I was in the UK for a business trip and stayed at this place with my friend for a much needed break. Karen is a wonderful host. Clean and well-equipped cottages, very quiet and private. A good base to go out to the surrounding beauty of Stratford. A place that I would definitely come back to stay!
This is a lovely self-catering let on a quiet and peaceful nursery farm with good connections to local towns such as Evesham, Worcester and Stratford. There is everything you need in the self-catering let to make a full meal with plenty of cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, a full size fridge with freezer compartment and a four-ring electric hob plus oven, microwave, toaster and kettle. Even a French-press coffee maker and tea pot!
The kitchen/diner is a good size with a two seater sofa, a single seater, dining table, chairs and a flat-screen Freeview TV. The bedroom has a full size wardrobe and drawer unit plus bedside tables/draw units, lamps and an FM/AM radio. The toilet has a bath with shower attachment and screen. There's a shaver light above the sink and a heated towel rail. The conversion is double-glazed and very warm with electric heaters in the kitchen/diner and bedroom.
A lot of thought has gone in to what you may need during your stay and it's all there including continental plug adaptors, spare bulbs and a torch, plus cleaning materials. Next to the cottages is a portakabin with a washing machine and tumble dryer too.
Externally there is a gravel laid area with table and chairs which caught the sun most of the day as far as I could tell!
Karen and Nigel are really nice hosts who have done a beautiful job of creating somewhere away from home that feels just like home. Not only would I stay there again, I am staying there again next month!
