Owner description: The UK's largest tropical butterfly paradise!

**Overview**
What a nice little gem of a place this is. Be prepared though, it is rather hot in there and DSLR camera lenses can mist up as did mine.

There is a little more than just butterflies as well in three separate areas, but I won't ruin it for you.

My 7 year old daughter, who adores Butterflies, was so happy as she had 13, THIRTEEN, butterflies land on her. So many, that she passed them onto other children and people who wanted a closer look.

**Pricing**
I think it is a reasonably priced place considering how well thought out it is and how rewarding the experience of being amongst all those butterflies it.

**Parking** There is a large car park opposite the Butterfly farm which is pay and display. I paid £6.00 (using a debit card, but it does accept cash too) which lasted me all day and then some into the evening up until 19:30pm. There is no change in price on any particular day. It is always the same

**Shop**
As with these kind of attractions there is a shop filled with toys, books and some very unique gifts too, some of which were impressively done. Yes, That's my mother's birthday sorted!

**Area**
This is a stone throw away from the town centre and right next to the canal, which makes for a nice walk.

Every Sunday there is a large market on too, with some really nice stalls.

**Food**
There was an outdoors food van selling various bits from tea and coffee, to snacks. There were also some picnic benches outside too, so come prepared with your own picnic if you prefer.

This place is genuinely a lovely place, I have always liked butterflies...until they started flying at me and landing on me. If like me you like nature from a distance it might not be the best place for you I have given it a very good because it is if you don't mind it, my friends loved it. It doesn't take long to walk around and the gift shop sells some lovely things at reasonable prices.

This place is absolutely beautiful in the summer especially. WE didnt go into the actual butterfly rooms as the humidity was like a sauna and the wife has troubles with places like that. Also, there is a fee to enter but it may be worth it. in any case, the farm itself is a sight to behold for kids and grown ups alike!

Visited here for my daughters birthday, used Tesco club card vouchers.
lots of beautiful butterflies, was a bit worried about stepping on them as their were quiet a few on the paths.
leaf cutting ants were fascinating, only ended up spending 45mins in there not enough to keep you busy all day
