ANOTHER excellent attraction. Well laid out and supported by enthusiastic and knowledgeable volunteers and staff. Very good value for money. Clear links are made to today's values and ideas and history comes alive

Lovely place to visit and good value as one ticket lasts 12 months. You will need good weather to get the benefit of the visit

The place is beautiful but as there are extensive grounds, it would be better for people with walking sticks etc to be able to exit the place without having to trek round the paths. Plus, it was not clear that there is disabled parking close to the house, so we parked further away which was a bit of a walk for my husband.

We were briefed and allowed to wander the cottage and the grounds. There were people available for questions. We walked through the cottage looking at the antiques. The gardens and wooded area were pleasant as well. It was easy to imagine myself in a Jane Austen book or picture William courting Anne.
