Visited this wonderful castle after many years away on a return home from Warwick and had a wonderful day with my fiancee and our dog as all English heritage sites are now dog friendly. Take the audio guide it's a fantastic supplement to the information boards. The staff are brilliant and very approachable. Give it a go!!

As a child in post war Coventry Kenilworth Castle was a frequent day out and I spent many sunny days there with my siblings. Not having been there for some 40+ years I was interested to go back and particularly to see the Elizabethan garden that has been created there. It was a good experience, the castle is much as I remember although I think English Heritage have made more of it accessible and there are some interesting additions such as the Armstrong Siddeley museum. It is not, perhaps, the best time of year to see the garden but I still found it a worthwhile experience.

Attended a wedding here and I have to dsay what an amazing venue it is for such an event. The castle and the grounds were so picturesque on what was thankfully a good day for the weather.

Fantastic castle ruins and gardens. This incredible site has a number of castle buildings that you can wander through and explore including a modern walkway through the many floors of one of the main structures. Lovely countryside views with plenty to see and read about. The exebition in the gatehouse is worth a visit as is the recreated garden. Overall well worth a visit for several hours.
There's a restaurant, shop and toilets on site.

Thank Andy P
