This restaurant is certainly isolated on the estuary but worth making the effort to get to. Good, simple menu and our choices were well cooked and quickly served. Lovely Cajun chicken burger followed by delicious Baileys cheesecake. Highly recommended.

We popped in here Easter Saturday without a booking and even though the place was buzzing we were accommodated. Kids had great fish and chips which were great and our lunch was fab too. Highly recommended.

Always loved coming to this place with the family. Unfortunately on this occasion the food was over cooked and dry. My fork bounced off the French fries and crunched when eating the Cajun chicken. Other families meals were ok except the chicken dishes. Could do with reviewing their menu or method of cooking it. View and table were good and service was fine

A riverside pub restaurant tucked away down a single track road. Excellent position on the river Deben with panoramic views. Patio for dining when weather permits. Bar and dining areas are ell presented. Menu is varied and good value. Selection of Adnams ales as well as other beers. Happy to revisit staff were excellent as was the food and drinks tried

Had a long walk along the muddy riverside, arriving back to the Ramsholt Arms at about noon on a Tuesday, so the place was quite empty. Was greeted at the bar with a smile and bought a couple of drinks. Decided to have a bite to eat and was shown the fairly short lunch menu. Had a crayfish sandwich and a salt beef and pickled cabbage sandwich, both of which were delicious and not overly pricey. Waitress service was with a smile too. Was glad to see it getting busier as we left, they deserve success there, even on a dull Tuesday lunchtime in March!
