We eat there last night and as it was busy downstairs were shown up to the first floor area of the restaurant where we were the only customers, which enabled us to pick a great table. The staff, including the owner, were obviously concerned that we would be put-off by being on our own, but we actually really enjoyed the intimacy of being on our own at a great table with views across (towards the church) and down Market Hill. The staff kept checking on us to make sure we were okay, but in an unobtrusive way. The owner went out of his way to introduce himself and explain the great collection and variety of high quality Riojas he had purchased direct from the grower. The food, however, was superb; my sweet potato bubble and squeak was on of the best starters I have ever had and my wife really rated the two vegetarian options she went for. We can clearly see why this is the number on restaurant in the Town - keep it up!
