Well, what a great find this lovely well furnished was. Here for two nights at the end of Novemeber as aprt of a trip to Bath and Bristol, great quiet location, on the bus route to both if you want to avoid the car parking and hassle. Accomodation is fitted out to a high standard, we never eat in but when we return, which we will, we will use the kitchen facilities. Bathrom only has a shower, but it is large and fitted with a really good electonic heat and flow control. Nearest pub is approx 1 mile, bring a torch to walk home. Great friendly hosts.
Our stay was short and sweet but it was such a beautiful place! We were also shocked at how well equipped the annex was! Thoroughly enjoyed!
As soon as I found Yew Tree Annex I knew it was going to be an absolute gem-and I was not mistaken. The annex is spotlessly clean, and in pristine condition, set within lovely gardens. Every thought has gone into its design and furnishing. It really is gorgeous. It's peaceful, yet minutes from good road links to Bath and Bristol and beyond. We enjoyed total tranquility in the most comfortable, warm and extremely good quality accommodation. Definitely 100% recommend a stay here.
The annexe is in a great location with easy access to Bristol and Bath. It has been furnished to a high standard and tastefully decorated. The owners made us feel very welcomed and provided a nice welcome pack. I would certainly stay here again and recommend this annexe which is in beautiful grounds to anyone wanting a break in a nice relaxing environment.
Almost central between Bath and Bristol both of which are well worth visiting. Castle Combe, Lacock and Dyrham Park and House are all worth viewing. Dyrham if you enjoy wildlife the Deer are quite tame. Lacock and Castle Combe will take you back in history as though time has stood still.
The Annex itself is perfect to return to and relax in the evening.
