Review of Bath Street

A turn onto Bath Street opened up our eyes to the amazing Bath Abbey. My sister-in-law and I were looking forward to our Bath visit, but we were not prepared to visit our favorite city. We parked in the underground shopping center parking garage but it was expensive. It did get us close to where we wanted to be so anyone with mobility issues would have it easier to see the sights.

Spectacular - you have to visit. Tips we were given that were super helpful: Go later in the day, sometimes its very busy in the day, we went mid afternoon and stayed late into the night, the lights were beautiful and the crowds were manageable. We also made use of the park and ride (bus) so parking was a breeze and we the buses come past frequent enough that you dont wait too long. The shops are beautiful, sometimes a bit pricey but the wares are unique and well made so worth it. Lots of places to eat, mulled wine, hot cider, warm apple juice and hot chocolate at every corner. We did A LOT of our Christmas shopping here!!

Unusual experience but very enjoyable. Log cabins with a variety of unusual wares. Food and wine tasting good fun.

I just loved walking amongst the buildings and quaint little streets with exquisite little shops ! I wish I had more time but lots of shops closed by 5pm. I was hoping they'd be open a little longer so allow yourself enough time to walk around and shop.

We saw it from the bus tour. This and all of Bath is overwhelmingly impressive. We stayed on the top of the bus, where it was cold.
