Great hotel
Impressed from the moment we arrived
Lovely welcome on arrival, good size bedroom with comfy king size bed, well stocked bar, great choice of breakfasts and all with free parking which is rarity in Bath
Recommend to anyone (10 minute walk to city centre)
We’ll return

Clean, confortable and with a really nice staff, maybe one of the best place i've been in the UK. As i told all perfectly clean and the breakfast more than perfect. Located at less than 10 minutes walk from the center.

lovely four night stay . very helpful and friendly staff. Breakfast was particularly excellent , as were the breakfast staff. Our room was nice and comfortable , with a separate sitting area , but a lack of hanging space , especially as we were staying four nights.

Room Tip: We stayed in room 19 and think it would be helpful to have row of hooks , as you enter on the right hand wall , for coats etc. And maybe a mirror above the little console table in the bedroom , so you can plug the hairdryer in the socket under the table and sit on the bed to dry your hair.

I stayed at Oldfields House with my 17 year old daughter on the way back from a trip to Exeter University Open Day. We were delighted with our stay - just perfect. The guest house does not provide food at night but it is situated within a short walking distance of plenty of venues to eat. The rooms we had were absolutely lovely - very comfortable, light & airy. The staff could not have been nicer or friendlier. I guess the one minor downside is the parking - not a particular problem just a little tight!!

Dear Vivienne,

Many thanks for the lovely review, we are glad that you and your daughter enjoyed your stay. We understand that parking can sometimes be an issue and we are looking at ways to improve it.
We hope the Exeter Open day was good fun but we would like to say that Bath's open day is on the 22nd of June.
We wish your daughter luck in her university choices and we hope to see you soon (22nd of June perhaps?).

All the best,

Oldfields House.

From the moment we stepped Ingot the lovely B&B we were made to feel welcome.
We were celebrating our anniversary and they gave us a fantastic room with a four poster and a balcony.
We also had a large en suite with a jacuzzi bath. The whole place was clean and tidy and the staff were lovely.
With a special mention to Gill and Zander, everyone looked after everything we could have asked for.
I wanted to just argue a couple of negative things mentioned in other reviews:
- noise - none from our end!
- small room - nope, very spacious
- bar not manned - all you have to do is ask, someone is not going to sit there all day to serve a couple of people.
- small breakfast - full English - it’s only because it is on a big plate and the toast is separate. My partner had it both days and it’s hearty. If you need more then there are plenty of other things.
Thank you all for a great few days!
