We stayed over Christmas to visit relatives in the area and we were within a 30 minute drive of everyone. It was lovely to look out the window and see beautiful countryside. On day trips to other towns and villages we never had to worry about finding our way through Bristol to hit the highway. Three wonderful pubs near by. Our favourite was the Griffin, just a short walk from the Chapel. Terri & David were wonderful. We had a small problem with a leaky toilet and David was there right away.We were just a short drive from Sainsbury's for groceries although we ate most of our meals at one pub or another. There are numerous villages within an easy drive such as Bath, Wells (stunning cathedral), Lacock, Tetbury, and many more. We were there primarily to visit family so didn't do a lot of sight seeing but plan to go back again in the summer to enjoy more of the surrounding area. Thank you David & Terri for contributing to a most memorable Christmas!
Just returned from a 3 night reak with friends stayed in Chapel suit which is a very stylish, quirky and high quality apartment. We are two mature discerning couples who like to travel and enjoy staying in different venues world wide. We were delighted with the accomodation here the beds were Uber comfortable not always the case in the more exclusive hotels and the standard of bedding and towels was also very good. Our only niggle was we would have preferred bath towels to be larger.
The “initial supplies” left was also appreciated tea, coffee, bread, milk and biscuits and most welcome when we first arrived.
Wonderful days in Bath and Bristol enjoying the ambiance of the Christmas markets and decorations with some first class eateries. Even managed some culture with some national Trust properties.
We would definitely return for a get together with our friends on another occasion
The accomodation is as beautiful as in the photos. Comfortable and cosy with wow factor. Pleased that second bathroom has bath and overbath shower..which we could not find details of beforehand. Owner visited on first evening to check everything ok. Location is perfect being equidistant between Bath and Bristol. Managed to fit so much into our 4 days/ 3 nights e.g. Clifton downs, Clifton Suspension bridge,SS Great Britain at Harbourside, Bristol, Bathwick Boatman restaurant and boat house, Bath and the Roman baths/ Pump room. Highly recommend.
We really enjoyed our stay at the Chapel. The luxury accommodation had super comfy beds and duvets which made for a fab nights sleep! The under floor heating and stylish decoration were only a few of the incredible selling points. Being close to both Bath and Bristol means you can explore both easily. I would highly recommend to anyone and would love to stay there again.
Perfect location for exploring Bath and Bristol area. Excellent communication with the owners. Good quality and very comfortable place to stay.
