What an experience. Need a few visits if you want to take all the history on board.
Unbelievable how far advanced the Romans were.

An undermarketted excellent attraction. This is truly a great experience. Staff are helpful, knowledgeable and patient. Exceptional value for money. Was at a loss to understand the attraction of Bath beyond the beautiful architecture until this visit to the Roman Baths. Exceptional for those who thrive on social history, and a joy to visit

Really exceptional, in all respects. The audio tour adds so much in-depth enjoyment to the visit of this ancient site. Yeah, Romans finally did fail and Rome did fall, but, wow, when they got things right, they got them RIGHT! When the Romans were using this, the water was as clear as any modern swimming pool...now, algae colors it green.

See everything if you can, make a wish at the pool, and be SURE to taste the actual water toward the end of the tour but only at the designated fountain! It will be a little brackish, but, hey, it might cure what ails ya.

Thank amfh

It is amazing that these have lasted as long as they did and it shows how decadent the \Romans were 2000 years ago as they bathed nude together-men and women and children. The Romans certainly were strong in early time-going to Britain and Egypt and many other places
