“Fabulous Place”
Reviewed 3 June 2016 for a stay in June 2016

We stayed here for 3 nights and were very impressed, firstly the location is great, minutes walk to get anywhere in the town. Cottage is clean and well equipped, comfy extra large bed and wonderful little garden, weather was kind to us so we spent lots of time out there and it's a real sun trap! Great welcome package from Rosemary, the eggs were delicious. We would definitely return and recommend to others.

“Lovely cottage in Ludlow town with delightful courtyard garden perfect for two.”
Reviewed 2 June 2016 for a stay in May 2016

Well equipped, clean and very comfortable cottage in a quiet street just minutes walk from the centre of Ludlow. The small courtyard garden is private and thoughtfully designed with pretty plants and garden furniture. The weather was glorious so we were able to enjoy breakfast outside each morning of our two night stay. The super king sized bed was extremely comfortable with nice quality bedding. Rosemary kindly left us a small hamper of her own hen's eggs, damson jam, cake, milk, bread and flowers in a vase. All delicious and much appreciated thank you. The roads in Ludlow are generally narrow and parking is restricted everywhere in town. However, street parking near the house is cheap at £1.10 per day and we had no problem finding a spot every day. There are an abundance of lovely independent shops in town and also supermarkets for more general groceries. We would highly recommend 19 Upper Linney to any couples or singles wishing to visit this very interesting town in the beautiful Shropshire countryside.

Thank you so much for this lovely review. I have added some new sun loungers this week (replacing last year's). I hope you will return to Ludlow again and stay at number 19.

“Charming cottage”
Reviewed 23 May 2016 for a stay in January 2016

We loved our stay at 19 Upper Linney for 3 nights in January 2016. A cozy cottage, easily accessible to the charming town of Ludlow on foot and also with great views out to the beautiful countryside. We were able to walk from the train station and followed Rosemary’s great directions for a short cut via the churchyard. We found plenty to do during the cold and sometimes wet days, out on country walks or exploring the town and market place. The cottage was warm and comfy and we spent time at the end of the short winter’s days snuggled up reading. We cooked two evening meals, using produce from the local stores and butcher shop. Our meal on the third night at French Pantry was delightful and the staff pleasant.
Rosemary was most responsive to all inquires both before and during our stay. The welcome homemade goodies she provided on arrival were most appreciated and all were delicious. You could do no better than stay in this charming cottage. A true taste of life in a small Shropshire town.

Many thanks for this review. I always leave the heating on throughout the winter, and keep all bedding etc thoroughly aired. The hot water is never turned off either, as the tank is in the roof, and so it avoids problems in the longterm I think. The cottage is not empty for long in any case, which helps. I am glad you so enjoyed it.
