The five of us had a great family dinner, enjoying a variety of starters and main dishes. They do set menus but we chose a la carte. Miller And Carter's hand cut nachos are probably the best in the world, they are crispy and served with aged cheddar cheese sauce, tomato salsa, sour cream, guacamole & mild jalapenos although there is strong competition from another starter: the sticky chipotle chicken with sesame seeds. The meat came in generous portions and was served at superb medium rare, maximum tender status. The Tomahawk long bone rib-eye and the butcher's.block (both dishes to be shared by two) tasted fantastic. The atmosphere in the restaurant is comfortably informal and the wines are good (we went for a smooth Aguaribay Malbec). The service was quick and alert, perhaps just a little bit too eager to make us order a third bottle of wine (we didn't). An enjoyable evening indeed, in a restaurant that has a lot to offer that we will come back for.
