“Perfect in Every Way!”
Reviewed 28 June 2016 for a stay in May 2016

It was my good fortune to have discovered this lovely flat on the edge of Oxford two years ago. I can now say I have stayed here twice, both one month long stays.
This little cottage is perfect for one to three people, but will also accommodate four people nicely. It is furnished with excellent taste, the linens are lovely, and the kitchen is modern and well equipped. The location could not be better. There are three separate ways to walk into Oxford, two along the Thames, both quite pastoral in nature. The bus stop is a hop away and the neighborhood is safe and quiet, a welcome respite at the end of a busy day. A market is handy and a quaint, little chapel is within view. An excellent pub is a five minute walk away.
In all honesty, this cottage has it all. I recommend it highly and would love to stay here again in the future.

“The place to be in Oxford”

This cottage worth 6 stars for the place (Wolvercote in the city of Oxford), close to the city center (by bike or bus). I have been for 2 years in Oxford, and I knew that this area was really nice, peaceful and really safe. Besides, a grocery shop is just behind the house which is very convenient.
The house is really nice and we have really appreciated our stay (2 weeks with our two sons).
Clare Morgan is a really nice person and we had a warm welcome. Grocery items were given in the fridge for our arrival which is really nice when you arrive the first day.
If we have to come back in Oxford, I will definitely come back in this marvellous tiny house since everything was perfect.

“Absolutely Perfect for Us”

This little gem of a cottage is situated on the edge of Oxford in upper Wolvercote. I rented the cottage for two months as my daughter was expecting her first baby here. Our cottage was clean, comfortable, well situated (less than 5 min to catch the bus into Oxford), and truly a home away from home. The bedding was lovely, the kitchen very modern with all the amenities, and the bathroom, nicely tiled. My husband stayed for 3.5 weeks and thereafter I had girlfriends visit. The neighborhood was very quiet and the people in the community, friendly. From this spot there are three ways to walk the 2.5 - 3 mile distance to Oxford, two of which are quite pastoral. Our hosts, while respectful of our privacy, did a wonderful job of communicating with us and anticipating our needs. Prior to our arrival, the dryer had just stopped working and a new replacement was immediately made. It is quite apparent this is a well cared for home. For convenience, a neighborhood store, post office, and wonderful pub are in close proximity of the cottage. I would highly recommend this cottage for a weekend or long term stay. I also would stay here again.

“Excellent experience”

We were four people in the lovely and cozy house. There was everything we could ask for in terms of white wares and all amenities. The neighborhood was quiet and close by the river which was a great place for early morning and late night walks and runs. It is also within walking distance of Inspector Morse's pub, which my dad appreciated a lot. The bus into center stopped very near by and went frequently throughout the day. And the owners were most helpful.

“Charming cottage, incredibly helpful owners.”

I stayed in this sweet cottage with my husband and parents. It is so well located with regards to transport links , we had a car and it was only a couple of minutes from the ringroad and a 2 minute walk to the bus route for making trips into town. This made it really easy for all of us to get around and explore. The cottage is in a peaceful village, very relaxing and its a 5 minute walk down to the meadow (and friendly pub complete with huge beer garden!). The local Londis shop is run by a very helpful family and is well stocked. There is also an M&S food 5 minutes away.We were so glad to return to the cottage after a day exploring Oxford which is quite a busy place - it was great to be able to leave all the bustling tourists behind and escape to the tranquillity of the cottage at the end of the day. Kitchen is superbly equipped and we cooked every evening. I definitely would stay here again if I return to Oxford.
