My review is coming to you from the wifi included with the rental. The place is spotless, well-located and caters to our requirements perfectly - 2 good-sized bedrooms, a lovely bathroom and kitchen and a comfortable lounge. Add to that the private gated parking and what is to not like?
Minutes away you have restaurants, pubs, shops and more.
Let me say that my family would often choose to stay at 5* hotels and this is a BRILLIANT alternative to that option. With an under-5, we appreciate the chance to shut him in his bedroom and relax in our own space.
When we return to York, we'd rent this place again without hesitation.

Ideally placed to allow easy access to all the attractions on York. All sorts of shops within a gentle walk. Restaurants, cafes & pubs in abundance.
The apartment is lovely, clean, warm & comfortable. The welcome pack provided by Karen was more than enough to make us feel very much at home. Easy access as it is on the ground floor - no stairs! Quiet at night, very little noticeable passing traffic.
Karen was there to meet us as promised even though we were a little late.
We would recommend this apartment wholeheartedly & hope to be back before too long.

This is a truly wonderful apartment which is very well placed for exploring York. It was ideal for our family of four and was comfortable and well equipped with everything needed for a great holiday. A five minute walk and you are in the city centre and it was also a short walk to both the Castle Museum and the Railway Museum both worth a visit. There is secure off road parking allowing easy travel to York but the freedom to leave the car and explore York on foot.
The owner left a welcome pack with bread, milk, butter, tea coffee and even a chilled bottle of wine, so considerate and a very nice touch. Would recommend this to everyone.

This is simply a lovely apartment with just about everything you could want for a highly enjoyable break! The whole place speaks of quality from the furnishings, to the top end bathroom fittings and the lovely kitchen. And remarkably for a holiday let it also has a very comfortable bed (in fact we've just bought ourselves a memory foam mattress topper after finding that one so comfy!). We weren't expecting the fairly substantial welcome package that gives you a good start on arrival and was very welcome indeed! There is also a decent BT wi-fi signal which actually works! The apartment also has the benefit of a secure off street parking place - which is essential in the centre of highly car unfriendly York. All in all if you want a top end, very comfortable apartment within easy walking distance of all the central York attractions then you would be hard pushed to find better!

a beautifully presented apartment only two minutes walk from the Ouse bridge and therefore very close to everything you would want to see.
Huge choice of restaurants-check out "Ate o'clock" restaurant-not the best exterior but nice inside -not expensive -excellent food +good menu.
