Having spent many family holidays in Whitby as a child, I decided to take my wife and two kids (4 & 2) from Glasgow to Whitby to let them experience the best of Yorkshire - my home county.
Despite it's size, we choose this apartment as it was decorated and furnished to a high standard, very well positioned for all of Whitbys main attractions and amenities and excellent value for money.
After instruction from the owner, we took our own bedding for our kids, and actually managed to squeeze a double travel mattress on the floor next to the bed and we all managed to sleep in one room comfortably (for 3 nights!).
I would highly reccomend this apartment for a couple or young family with small children looking for a short break on a budget.
It's excellent value and would definitely go back.

We had 3 nights here, the apartment is centrally situated, the decor is outstanding, and is equipped with everything you could possibly need, the welcome folder gives lots of information about the apartment, plus things to do in the area. It is cleaned to a very high standard. The view of the harbour was lovely, and i sat watching the boats come in from their fishing trips out to sea. We took our dog, and there is a gravel courtyard out back so he could do his business. A real ‘home from home’ feel to the property, we love Whitby so much that we are planning on moving there !!!!!.

this apartment is decorated to a high standard and was spotlessly clean .
it is situated straight across from the quayside and long stay carpark.
tea,coffe and milk were left for us which was nice after a long drive.
it is situated in the perfect possition to watch the world go by out of the window after a busy day round whitby(which was very busy).
would definately go again.
only bother is parking but to be fair we were warned about in advance.

We stayed here at Easter (Good Friday to Easter Monday). The apartment itself is a real gem, decorated to a high standard and well positioned for the town centre. Parking is handy although you may have to "stalk" a few other parkers to get a spot as the car park is generally full. We always got parked within a few minutes.
The apartment is well appointed and was spotless on arrival. The only observation I have to make is that it is quite small with limited storage for clothes so you have to be well organised but we managed fine for the 3 nights. Anyone stopping for a week or more may struggle.
A big bonus for us was our dog was welcome.
The apartment overlooks the street which can be a bit noisy from traffic and the pub over the road played loud music until around midnight on Friday and Saturday.
All in all we thoroughly enjoyed the stay and would definitely use it again if we returned to Whitby.

Delightful apartment - stayed for four days at the end of summer season when nights starting to cool - and was very warm and cosy. Quiet, and few minutes walk to the abbey and all amenities. Only disadvantage was parking as although there's a council car park opposite it was full when I arrived. There's everything you need in the apartment - decor was gorgeous - can't wait to visit again. Would recommend and have - my dad's going next month!
