Went for two nights and it cost about £300 including breakfasts. They have thought of everything and the other reviews show there's everything you need. The hot tub was ace. I would have given a 5 star rating apart from a couple of things. Firstly, you have to clean the pod before leaving. They said this is to keep costs down by not needing a cleaner, but at £130 a night, that's well expensive. I've stayed in a travel lodge for £30 a night and not been expected to clean the toilet and mop the floor before I leave. Also other pod camping we've been to didn't ask for cleaning and they cost £50 a night. That really put a downer on the last day, as I had to clean instead of having a last dip in the hot tub. Second downside was the extra cost for everything. You aren't allowed to take a bag of wood or charcoal from home, which costs £5 from our local garage. You have to buy a bag from them for £10. Plus the first bag you also have to buy it as a £15 package which includes marshmallows and starter kindling etc, which we didn't need. It also costs £20 just to use the pizza oven, and you still have to get your own dough and ingredients. Extra £15 cost to have your hot tub warm for when you arrive. It was just a shame that we felt a bit ripped off when we were already spending a lot on a 2 night stay.
We didn't see any staff. Just checked ourselves in and out, which was fine. Our pod area was private and although the other pods were full, we didn't hear or see them really. Everyone was quiet. We had a great time. We would come again if it was a bit cheaper. £100 extra for the hot tub has to be a one-off treat for us.
Owners give really good info via email before you go, so you know how to get there and what to expect. It's a long single road for what felt like miles, with few passing areas, so it was a palaver when another car came the other way.
Other than those few bits of feedback, everything else was perfect.

Glad you and your family enjoyed your stay and were pleased with your upgrade to a pod with a private wood-fired hot tub. Lots of guests choose the pods with a hot tub as the extra cost also includes two sets of bedding and a towel bundle. The pre-lighting service is an optional extra for a special occasion.
We’re sorry that you feel that the fire pit packs are expensive. The £15 includes hire of the fire pit, a sack of kiln-dried logs and a paper bag that we make up containing a box of long matches, natural fire lighters, kindling, wooden skewers and a bag of quality marshmallows.
The £20 charge for the pizza oven includes exclusive use of the wood-fired oven at The Hub for the afternoon/evening, a large basket of kiln-dried logs and all fire-lighting equipment. We lay the fire in the oven, ready to light, and supply tools including pizza paddles, pizza wheel, oven mitt and chopping board. Guests who choose the oven as an optional extra are sent detailed instructions on how to use it.
We offer optional extras so that guests can choose what’s important to them and to suit different budgets. We work very hard to offer good value for money and use only the highest quality products and equipment.
We do ask that guests leave their pods clean as it’s respectful and helps to look after our pods. We always clean each pod to a high standard after guests leave.
We are a bit off the beaten track but that does mean that we have a lovely, quiet site with fabulous views.
It’s great that you thought everything else was perfect and we hope your husband enjoyed his birthday celebrations.

What a beautiful place.

Very clean, homely, well equipped little peace of heaven.

An amazing get away, all in a setting that is so peaceful and idyllic that you can forget all your troubles.

From the communal area, the games, the space down the the pod. All amazing both as a couple and with a group of friends!

Will 100% be returning!

Myself and my partner visited Peaks and Pods this week and had a wonderful time. We stayed in one of the pods with a hot tub and it was just perfect. The pod itself was so cosy, immaculately clean and finished to a high standard. Everything had been thought of and the little nice touches such as a homemade cake on arrival just made it even more special. The owners, Joanne and John, were so welcoming and helpful. I can highly recommend this place for a peaceful and relaxing retreat.
Thank you Peaks and Pods we will certainly be back!

Spent the early May BH weekend here.

Stayed in Two Acre Bit.

Private modern toilet and shower room 5 metres away.

Amazing inside, cosy and so clean and tidy with everything you could need.

The sun all day and the views were amazing to wake up to.

Owners friendly but unobtrosive and close by if they are needed.

BBQ and fire pit great fun.

Fridge and cooker inside the pod - only needed the fridge.

Free range friendly chickens wandering about!

Loved the home made lemon drizzle cake which welcomed us!

I will certainly be back though possibly for one day longer as we did not want to leave!

No wifi but no issues with mobile signal!

We came with two other families (we stayed in Corn Bents). The site is beautiful, amazing views! The pods are compact but well fitted out, great attention to detail - the Hub communal area is a brilliant idea, the kids loved hanging out in there and playing the games that are there for all to use. Hot tub was a real touch of luxury, more than enough firewood to keep it warm all weekend - crystal clear sky in the first night gave a real eye opening view of all the stars.

Would highly recommend a stay here!

We’re really pleased that you and your friends enjoyed your special Bank Holiday weekend together. Great to hear that the children enjoyed spending time at The Hub with the games too. We were so lucky with the lovely weather at the weekend - perfect for star-gazing from the hot tub. Thanks for recommending us!
