This is a cafe not a café. From the outside and the location, you don't expect anything much but it is great. You go here to eat not to swipe your phone with yummymummies.
The welcome is friendly. Really friendly. And the food is fabulous. I had the small breakfast: two sausages, two rashers of bacon, hash brown, fried egg, tomatoes or beans and freshly baked bread or toast for £3.90. The bacon and sausages are very high quality from the butcher across the square.
My friend had a bacon pastry which he said was delicious. Two mugs of strong tea and two cups of fresh bean coffee later, which my friend said were much better than most of the pretentious and expensive local cafés with the é, and we left full and with change from £10 for the two of us. Outstanding.
