A good Premier Inn, as they usually are, and this one had a great family room (one double, 2 singles, and enough space to navigate around them!)

What a shame then that breakfast was a complete farce. Having paid already, I don't expect to be told - on a Sunday morning - that there is a 40 minute queue before eating. Forty minutes! Apparently this is because the pub next door that is used for breakfasts also promotes itself to non-guests with pile-it-high specials. The result was that the whole of Norwich descended on the place, while paying guests were told (not verbatim) "tough - wait your turn".

We were refunded without much argument, but the whole setup was ludicrous. Here's an idea... reserve an amount of seating for paying guests.

Ruined an otherwise decent hotel.

Room Tip: If paying for breakfast, make sure you'll be able to eat it without joining a theme-park style queue.

Highly recommend this hotel after a 2 night stay visiting family nearby. Excellent, friendly staff throughout stay. Clean, well planned bedroom, with very comfy huge bed! Enjoyed variety of food at breakfast, healthy options as well as traditional full English.

Lovely clean, quiet hotel with very friendly staff. We've stayed here twice this year and have been very pleased with the hotel and room. Bathrooms were spotless. Although it's close to the main A140 Cromer Road most rooms are well way from the road. The airport seems very quiet at night, so no problems there either. We did notice the noise from one plane on the runway during the day, but only when the window was open and we were on the airport side of the hotel. There's no air conditioning, but the room windows can be opened (not fully, but more than some Premier Inns - e.g. Duke Street in Norwich)

The main draw back is the Brewers Fayre restaurant which serves breakfast lunch and evening meal. It get's very busy with non-hotel residents, especially at the weekend. Breakfasts at the weekend are fairly chaotic, with lots of families from the surrounding area coming in for the "all you can eat" buffet breakfast. Breakfasts are also busy during the week if it's school holidays. The buffet struggled to keep up with demand. If you want a leisurely, quiet, relaxing breakfast, don't eat at Brewers Fayre, or go in very early. The restaurant and carpark (shared with Hotel) were also packed very busy in the evening, so we ate elsewhere. The restaurant looked like it needed a good clean too (thick dust on horizontal surfaces).

Overall, it would be a great improvement if the Hotel had it's own, private, internal restaurant.

We spent one night at the Norwich Airport Premier Inn at the weekend for a family birthday party. The staff were great, very helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable with everything you need. Breakfast was great, plenty of choice. We had an evening meal and breakfast at the Oaks, which is located right next door to the premier inn. The staff were amazing, nothing was too much trouble, food was good with plenty of choice.
