“Perfect accomodation at countryside”
Reviewed 9 October 2019 for a stay in September 2019

Perfect for two couples or a family. Clean and cosy with a nice garden. Fully equipped kitchen. Nice and generous host couple, who could also provide valuable tips on attractions. Recommended!

“Very happy we chose The Lodge.”
Reviewed 19 July 2019 for a stay in July 2019

We were very satisfied with Surlingham lodge. The location was just right for the plans we had and being one level was a bonus. The accommdation was very clean and modern. The view to the back garden was lovely with the sightings of farm animals, rabbits and grouse.
Robin and Elena are very friendly and having them living in the attached building was and added comfort for they were available for any advise especially on places to visit.
I will definitely be recommending ti Lodge to my family and friends who plan to visit Norfolk.
Thanks Elena for the Scones and new brewed cups of coffee.
Regards,
Shareef and Rehanna .

“Work Accomodation”
Reviewed 28 January 2019 for a stay in January 2019

I had booked Elena & Robin's cottage for one of our employees working in Norwich. He said that Elena & Robin were amazing hosts, very thoughtful. He very much enjoyed his stayed there and could not fault the cottage one bit. We would definitely recommend to anyone staying in the area and would stay again. Thanks again for accommodating Mick.

“Family friendly studio cottage”
Reviewed 29 October 2018 for a stay in October 2018

Very cosy studio cottage, bright airy and high ceilings. Kids loved the very well kept garden and enjoyed playing in tree house. Robin was very helpful with great suggestions about where to visit (yes, we did visit Poringland:) and local amenities, nothing was too much for him to do. It was quite thoughtful to have provided some basic breakfast stuff as well. Kitchen was well equipped. We all had a fantastic stay here. Thank you.

A very impressive studio, clean ,tidy and well equiped,a nice garden to relax in if required, and a friendly host.
Norwich, with its wonderful catherdral and shops, is not to far and well worth a visit.
The Blickling Estate is another place to find time to see,it is highly recommended and
does not disappoint. While you are in that area you should spend a couple of hours in
Sheringham on the coast,it`s like stepping back into the seventies.A wonderful small town.

Thank you so much for your kind words about our cottage as well as the areas to visit! If you enjoy visiting Stately Homes, we hope you stay with us again as there are other beautiful places to visit, such as Oxburgh Hall, Felbrigg Hall, Houghton Hall, Holkham Hall and Somerleyton Hall is one of our favourites!
