Arrived at hotel and was impressed from the start.
Reception area nice bright and welcoming.
Got to the room and found it to be more than adequate. Very comfy bed. Wardrobe. Dressing table. Table and chairs too. TV. Kettle with tea, coffee sugar, milk and biscuits (shortbread, my fave). Bathroom was very nice, huge wall art with wet room style look. Very pleased indeed.
Would recommend

Dear Roxanne H,
It is always nice to read that the hotel has made a good impression. I hope that business brings you back to the Maids Head again, or that you get chance to visit our Fine City in a more social capacity.
Kind regards

My partner and I stayed for the Christmas break on the all-inclusive package. We had one of the more modern rooms in the new wing of the hotel. Reception staff polite and efficient. This is the third year we have stayed over Christmas and the staff went out of their way to make us enjoy our stay. The food at the restaurant was great. The hotel is in the process of refurbishment and the common areas and WCs are really well appointed. The whole place has a very friendly feel to it. The hotel is about 40m from Norwich Cathedral so perfect to get to midnite mass in under a minute. The city centre is mere minutes away on foot and the free parking at the hotel is very convenient.
Overall a great stay and would highly recommend; easy to get around Norfolk from such a central location.

For the 3rd year in a row, an excellent Christmas break package. Once again, the food was superb and the service excellent.
Since last time there have been room, and public area refurbishments completed to a high standard, including tablets in the rooms and rain showers.
We really appreciated the cheery team at the hotel setting aside their Christmas celebrations to make ours special.
We will be back before next Christmas!

My husband and I attended my brother and sister in laws wedding at the hotel and thoroughly enjoyed the vegetarian food. The menu was excellent and the chef certainly deserves a mention as the food was amazing. We will definitely return and will plan to stay over next time too to sample the breakfast!

This hotel is very centrally located in Norwich, but this means it can be quite noisy. Not only was our room right next to an air conditioning unit which clunked into life in the early hours of the morning, but it was also next to and above rooms being used to host a wedding (which was understandably noisy until late in the evening) - we really felt that non-wedding guests ought to have been located elsewhere in the building.

Dear Sasmi3,
I am sorry to read that your sleep was disturbed. We do try our best to allocate non-wedding guests away from the functions, where possible, though we did not have a wedding in November, the month your review says you stayed. I hope that this will not put you off staying at the Maids Head hotel in the future.
Kind regards
