Recommended length of visit: 1-2 hours
Owner description: The Greenwich Vintage Market is just a hop, skip and a jump from the Cutty Sark & The Maritime Museum in the very heart of Greenwich. With an eclectic mix of 40 stalls open 5 days a week (closed Mon & Weds), you are sure to find a treasure...and when you have shopped till you drop, take the weight off your feet and enjoy a very vintage Afternoon Tea at the Tea Hut. The last Friday of every month it is also home to The Greenwich Vintage Moonlight Market with the usual mix of stalls plus a pop-up bar with ALL drinks only £2:50 and live music entertainment.

It is very small and has bits of junk and lots of antiques. It is not the kind of vintage market like spitalfields, with retro but new bits etc. There is an auction bidding bit also. Kind of like an outdoor antique shop. Recommended for older individuals who like antiques.

Always try to visit the local flea market in a new town. Great way to pass the time and who knows what treasure you may find.

Looking round the market was a pleasant way to kill twenty minutes, but a lot of the things on sale were what I would class 'tat'. There were some nice things, but also others that just seemed vastly overpriced, justified by the "vintage" description.

This market is nothing special. I know they say "one man's junk is another man's treasure" but this just seemed to be a lot of old tat at inflated prices for gullible tourists.
