Owner description: Caroline offers classes covering all aspects relating to the magical world of English tea time. More than 4,000 visitors have travelled to London to attend her workshops and classes. Her workshops and classes range from private classes for two people upwards to large group events on scheduled dates. Information is imparted in a fun and practical way to give you confidence to replicate your own tea party at home. The most popular class is the Afternoon tea party baking class followed by a tea party. Other classes and workshops include mastering how to make the Parisian style macaron, a guided tea tour around the Victoria and Albert Museum, and an extended multiple day workshop programme covering all every aspect of English tea time from tea tasting, tea party baking, social history of tea parties in context and how to present your own tea party.

Going to Caroline's was one of the most anticipated parts of my UK trip. And, she didn't disappoint. I'm an avid baker, but her tips on creaming the butter and sugar made all the difference! The night before my class I was craving Victoria sponge - and my craving was satisfied after Caroline's class. She was a wealth of knowledge about baking, the history of tea and how to brew it. Also, I was impressed with how she was able to communicate with the Japanese students in our session. She had their instructions printed in Japanese and knew words and phrases to help them understand. It was a wonderful experience that I recommend to everyone with a love for tea. After the class - I suggest enjoying your take away treats at the park in Little Venice.

Thank you so much for your kind review and I hope that you will continue to bake - it sounds as though your time in Conrwall was also really fantastic - the land of Clotted Cream. With warmest wishes, Caroline

I had a hands on cooking session with Caroline in May 2018, with just one other participant, so lots of opportunity for interesting talk about the origins of clotted cream, the importance of the best jam, the practices associated with the ' refined art of taking tea ' through time. And looking for tea drinking rituals in literature - I'm reading Jane Austen again. The Victoria Sponge was the standout for me - that's a definite addition to my 'afternoon tea with friends' table.

I highly recommend the HALF DAY AFTERNOON TEA PARTY BAKING CLASS with Caroline. She was an excellent instructor with a fast array of knowledge. We made delicious scones, shortbread and Victoria Sponge cake. Since we have been home, we have used her recipes so many times and people always rave about our tea parties
