My brother and his partner took me to this idyllic neighborhood setting for a brunch when I visited them in London recently. I really enjoy these types of places, which I have tried in North America (US and Canada) but never in London. Maybe because my usual visits to London were always strictly business and never a leisurely weekend like this visit.

Anyway, there were several types of cuisines being offered, including Mexican, pasta, Brazilian churrasco, quiche, pastries/breads, cocktails and vegetable/fruit juices. There were also sellers of chicken and other raw meats, and fresh vegetables and fruits. I went for the Mexican burritos by the Pink Cactus (the stall's name), which looked to be the most interesting and tasty, especially their breakfast burrito, with chorizos and fried eggs on top of the usual burrito stuff. I had it "naked" style, i.e. without the tortilla wrap. I really enjoyed it and was fully stuffed when I finally finished it.

My brother tried the new churrasco offering, with various grilled meats, which was also very good - we all tried some of his - if one likes a lot of red meat. They even offered alligator and kangaroo meats, but he stuck to the traditional pork, beef and lamb.

The atmosphere was very friendly and open, and I lucked out on the weather, which was sunny and not too cold on this autumn day.

Intimate little market with the usual organic meat, fruit, veg and fresh pizza, street food and awesome cocktails from Bold London. Barbara's Cakes regularly called the best cake stall in London. Visit the market or online.

Awesome local food market that delivers on many levels. Great produce available every saturday, and some interesting street food stalls serving dishes that youd be hard pushed to find in some of the best restaurants in london.(notably, Social Meat Club and Butcher and Brine).
An informative and inviting market kitchen is also an option should you want to teach your kids, or your self, some culinary skills. The tutorial changes weekly. This market is a long over due addition to the area that we should continue to support. Great work, keep pushing.

A lovely small farmers market plus kitchen which is great for all ages including for families with children. Run from a local primary school in Brook Green the market has a lovely selection of market traders offering farmers market produce, great coffee, cakes and there is a craft beer section. With table's set up to sit, eat or play games you can spend an hour or 2 if the sun is shining enjoying the atmosphere and listening to the live music. With access for children to play in the two playground's attached to the school it's excellent for families as well with a place to keep the kids happy. A lovely local and friendly market well worth a vist if you are in the area on a Saturday.
