The apartment was cozy and just right for my business trip to London. It would have been helpful to have instructions on how to work the microwave, dishwasher, and washer/dryer. I did manage to figure out everything but the microwave, which turned out to not be a big deal.
It was extremely helpful to have a small kitchen, even though I only used it for breakfast. Made starting the day a little less frantic. I also enjoyed the little sitting area. The bed was comfortable, and the apartment had good light, though not much view.
Leasing a one-bedroom flat at the Nell Gwynn House with a sofa bed was the perfect solution for a two-week London stay with this grandmother, 8-year-old grandchild and her father. The location was ideal for sightseeing and easy use of the Tube (two stations within easy walking distance) and buses, and within walking distance to Sloane Square, Kings Road and museums. I woke each morning to a lovely view that included St. Paul's in the distance! A fully equipped kitchen and a Sainsbury's Local market across the street meant we only ate one meal out each day -- a big money saver, as was the washer/dryer in the bedroom closet. Sky TV and Wi-Fi was included and was strong and reliable. Service at the apartment, from the office staff to the porters (no tipping) was friendly and impeccable, as was housekeeping. And the international clientele was fun to be with. We truly felt "at home" in London with this flat as our headquarters!
