If you are expecting something special, this bridge is not it. A little downstream on the Thames is the Tower Bridge which is special. You can walk a little ways down stream and see where the previous London Bridge was (it is now in Arizona). The best part of this bridge is there was a Gelato vendor on the south bank. Also next to the south end of the bridge there is an area covered with flowers as a memorial to the terrorist attack of June 3, 2017. So while this bridge is modern it is a place that that is part of London culture.

Nothing startling about this bridge. We visited just for the reason we could say we walked across London bridge. Very very wide pedestrian walks both sides which now have massive concrete barriers in place to stop idiots in cars driving there.

A lovely view and information about the workings of London bridge. We were lucky enough to also see the bridge raised why we were there.

... especially @ night. Learn the story of why "London bridge was falling down". In the Middle Ages, the Mayor's wife used the taxes to buy clothes, hence "my fair lady" in the rhyme!!!

Firstly as my title boldly suggests please do not confuse London Bridge with Tower Bridge.
London Bridge is a modern concrete style bridge crossing The Thames.
It is not the most attractive of bridges but does give some great photo opportunities towards Tower Bridge.
