I used to come to the old café from the early 1980s until probably 8 or 10 years ago and it was pretty awful during that whole 30 years. The new place is very smart and stylish. It is a bit pricey but its Benugo which I am a fan of for their quality. We had tea and coffee which was very nice and one massive scone with jam and cream. The quality of the scone was first rate - even my wife said so and she is a very competent baker. I would certainly come back here.

This newly built cafe - replacing the run-down cafe that previously occupied the space - sits in the wonderful surroundings of Gunnersbury Park which is currently undergoing a long overdue restoration. The cafe serves wood-fired pizzas in addition to the usual cafe beverages and cakes...not cheap though and the cakes really should be under cover for hygiene reasons. There’s a lot of outside seating and a large kids play area (dogs also have their own segregated area). All things considered, a welcome addition to a beautiful park.

Visited for the first time since the refurb. Looks amazing really modern very spacious and lots of seat. A load of high chairs which is good. Place seems bright and clean and tidy. Everyone's breakfast baps seemed to take a long time. One couple were more than halfway through their breakfast and the bap came. I do think food here is a little pricey for what you get.

I was told this new cafe was to have a designated smoking area, that seems to have vanished ! Who wants to pay for high priced food only to have a smoker sit next to you..!

I asked the nice staff what happened & was told the manager changed their mind & allowed smoking, we won’t be stopping there again..
