What a wonderful afternoon spent at Sky Garden and Fenchurch restaurant. An enjoyable experience from start to finish, lovely service from the lovely Giulia and colleagues! We had the set menu for two and a bottle of wine. Everything was delicious, I particularly recommend the lamb and my mum especially enjoyed her dessert of blueberry, violet and lemon pavlova.

It was a shame about the weather but it didn’t spoil our experience, still thoroughly enjoyable.

Took my good friend for his 50th birthday. The service was overall good, a bit rush though. The celebration started well but unfortunately the experience became less enjoyable at the end. The restaurant knew about his birthday and said that they would arrange a little birthday cake at the end. It came at the very last minute just after our coffee and it was a few small cheap eggs in a ball with "Happy Birthday" written in chocolate, not even a candle and no wishes from the waiter. We also noticed that every table were given an Easter egg but for us, there was none. We paid for the 8 courses tasting menu, spending over £400. Food was good but service not up to this high value.

Booked a table for two for New Years Dinner - set menu. Enjoyable night, professional service, very well looked after as you would have expected for the price paid. Would definately go back!

Though the food was ok (the starter was very nice) the restaurant was very loud and felt crammed, not as calm and spacious an atmosphere as the website photos convey. The waiters seemed to rush around, mostly forgetting who had ordered what, contributing to the loud and not so relaxed environment.

I had asked for a window seat, highlighting a big anniversary celebration but didn't get one so worth noting that you can't guarantee a nice table when you book, it'll be decided on the night. Apart from a handful of tables there is no view to speak of in this restaurant.

If you want to be able to have a nice conversation with your meal (and actually hear what people are saying) I'd recommend you find another restaurant.

However: if you like a busy and loud experience and are planning to see the Sky Garden any way, then the food all tasted fine and other diners seemed happy so it might work for you.

This is unlikely to be a cheap dinner option....unless no alcohol at all is involved, this is likely to be upwards of £100 a head. The venue is special though as the views alone are fabulous and the Skygarden is worth a visit. We opted for the taster menu with paired wines. Some of the courses weren’t necessarily what I would order ordinarily but they were still all excellent. I was particularly impressed with the wine pairing - some unusual but excellent wines. The sommelier was knowledgable and friendly (even if we couldn’t absorb all of the information after several courses and several glasses of wine!). Service was very good. Cocktails were elaborate and impressive. For a special occasion/so long as you are willing and able to pay £100 a head for lunch, then I would recommend the experience.
