“Very comfortable stay, plus good service”
Reviewed 4 January 2016 for a stay in December 2015

We had actually rented another property from Diego A but upon arriving in London, received multiple messages from him that a housekeeping issue at our original rental had happened. Diego placed us at this charming Landor Walk property, with 3 double bedrooms, a dining and living area and a fabulous kitchen. There was also a garden. This fit our family of 6 very comfortably.

When we walked in the door there was a bottle of Prosecco, a HUGE Panettone (delicious, we ate every crumb) and chocolates for the kids— a Christmas Day treat that made us feel very welcome indeed.

The property is a 1 min walk to the main road (Askew Road) where Bus 266 takes you to Hammersmith Station, from where you can practically reach any part of London. It is also very close by to Westfield Shopping Mall, which is a mega-mall that has practically every shop you can think of, from Louis Vuitton and Prada to Top Shop and H&M. My 9-year-old was particularly thrilled to visit Kidzania at Westfield, while her siblings enjoyed coffee and shopping.

Just one minute from the apartment: a Tesco, The Cooperative (BEST BACON EVER - BUY HERE) and just a little further down, a Sainsbury Local, Olivia Pizza, and a Paya Asian-food takeout. You won't starve in this place.

Only two downsides: there is just one bathroom so it look our brood 2 hours every morning to get out of the house. And the walls are kind of thin, but neighbours are quite considerate although we could hear when they flushed the toilet (and they could probably hear us too!)

Diego was also kind enough to let us store our luggage at his office after check out, before our night flight. It was lovely to meet him and his co-workers, and chat about his family. And we got more chocolates from them before we left. It gave our stay a really nice, human touch that you wouldn't get at a hotel.
