The hotel is in a great location for exploring London with Covent Garden and Carnaby street areas both an easy walk. The Holborn underground is very near where the tube can be used to get a little further afield. The rooms are a little small as per the details but everything you need is there and they are very well finished. The staff were friendly and welcoming and I would be more than happy to stay here again. Only two gripes really – the very hard, square bed corners protrude from the mattress and are easy to catch and trip on – both of us are going home with bruised shins. Secondly the downstairs area in Hubbard & Bell is very nice but also very busy. As residents it was often hard to get a seat at any time of day as the area seems to be being used as a student coffee shop hangout with many people sat with laptops making one drink last all day. A residents only seating area would be a welcome change. Or you could remove the access to free WiFi and power sockets to force them back to the library!
