Stopped off at The Scoop on Sunday and caught a great amateur choir (In Choir) singing a wide range of popular and classic songs. A really good crowd even though the weather before hand was pretty dreadful.
Great entertainment and free - what more could you ask for

Visited on a hot summers day. There was a small band playing in the bottom of the scoop/amphitheater which was nice. Hung around for a while. The best thing though is that the scoop had a nice graduated plane conical ramp that make walking from top level to lower level VERY easy. Low and slow incline/decline when moving between levels. Much appreciated on a hot summer day.

Was there mid day and early evening several times. Well populated weekdays and weekend. Felt very safe. Good police presence, but not over-bearing. Casual

This is a small modern day amphitheatre, easy to find built into the plaza by the riverfront on the South of the River Thames between London Bridge and Tower Bridge (in the area now known as 'More London'). It regularly hosts events although when we visited we just sat on the curved concrete seating and took in the impressive views of the redeveloped riverfront area. Worth a look if you're nearby.

Right outside my work... sometimes have tennis and other events on a huge tv, in summer lovely place to chill and eat lunch etc. Occasionally they have live shows(theatre) on. If you visiting tower bridge area. Somewhere to sit if you in need of a sit down
