“Vile place. Nasty manager look at her comments back and think do you want someone with venom like that serving you.”

Completely take the manager comments on board. She said we have obviously never eaten in a restaurant before she also asked us to dine elsewhere in future. Wow. Just look at her replies to people look at the venom and how horrible the comments are. I don't worry we will never come back. This is no way to treat customers. We paid in full and we made a comment about the falafel burger not been cooked in the centre. So come on lets see your colours in your reply for the world to see. Read the other comments too and avoid there are other places to eat. BTW £4.50 for take away rice is a rip off and commenting that my wife was cheap for drinking her own bottled water after I purchased a drink any way was low.

This is Persian food for tourists, not the real thing. Having been to a collection of wonderful Persian restaurants in LA (where there is a substantial Persian population), this place seems mediocre in comparison. The lamb wasn't very tender and of only moderate quality, the spices weren't interesting, and the prices were too high.

Mr.Patisson

Thank you for taking the time to write us a review, we welcome all customer feedback.

I was intrigued to read your reviews of other Persian Restaurants in LA, (THE REAL THING), hence I browsed through your other 195 reviews which goes back to 2003, but was utterly Surprised (To say the least) that there's not a single review of the wonderful Persian restaurants you've reffred to!! LOL .... NOT Even a single review of a Persian restaurant anywhere in the world even though you've travelled a lot, which leaves very little to the imagination....

Not sure which lamb dish you're referring to or which spices in particular, but if you had mentioned any concern to our head waiter or manager, I'm sure they would have made sure your dish was changed to something more palatable (although I'm not even sure you've tried Persian food before).

But hey ho, we send you positive energy from our small restaurant. All the best.

I went for lunch in which the service and the food was excellent, all the meat was top quality and cooked to perfection

There were just 2 0f us on a rainy weekday late lunch/early dinner. The restaurant was empty.

it is a bit shabby and a bit cafe-like environment. We have no idea why they had loudspeakers playing music - albeit low. Hard chairs and wooden tables.

The gentleman who served us was pleasant and attentive - but had limited English language. (Please don't tell me I need to speak Persian to eat there!!)

The food was OK: 5 very large lamb chops and a 'Fesenjoon'. Tasteful and tasty- but nothing special. This came to £33.

A glass of Persian tea was £2.75 - which is excessive. A glass of Malbec red wine was £8.75 - which was even more excessive.

So what was meant to be a smallish simple meal became quite expensive.

We would have to havea good reason to visit again.

Visited this place because we're a big fan Persian food. We were given a lovely table by the window with comfortable seats. The guy who took our order was very very kind and answered all our questions. They even advised what we were ordering was too much for the 2 of us. Excellent combination of tasty fresh dishes with dreamy Persian rice. Friendly polite staff, super clean restaurant with a buzz. They had to turn away customers as it was very busy, so I think it's better to book before. Would definitely come back.
