Went into Habitat on Tottenham Court Road with the intention of buying an item of furniture that I previously seen on their website. Stood there for ages while the staff (in a practically empty shop) talked to each other and ignored me. Eventually I managed to speak to a member of staff who actually rolled her eyes at being asked to serve me. She offered no information about the product, was bored and rude throughout the brief time we spoke and couldn't have cared less. I left the shop having not spent the several hundred pounds that I intended to spent. The worst service I have ever experienced.

The online products are nice and of good quality, but customer service is poor.
Whenever I call to speak to customer service, I'm held on the phone for hours, and can't speak to anyone.
The collection that was finally scheduled was not met, so still left with unwanted products.
Would not buy from them again, I'll stick to John Lewis next time!

I've always been a big fan and avid supporter of Habitat and was very sorry to see them reigning back there expansion. Especially evacuating their beautiful Regent Street Store. Such a loss!!

I've always found them to be a good supplier of reasonably affordable, well designed and desirable goods filling that massive market void between the two price points - low and high!

However I was surprised that on my recent visit certain displays, such as these beautiful hanging light fittings with incredible bulbs, are not for sale and not by Habitat. What a shame they lost a purchase and nearly a loyal customer. Considering the aim is to show what they supply, for us to buy, this truly defeats it. Silly. If you don't sell the furniture don't show the furniture.

However I found some not so exciting sale goods. Their sale is very good.

Also there delivery routine is somewhat slow and very convoluted.

Worth a visit I think even though you can't buy everything and the kitchen sink!
