Been here a few times for food and drink and have to say I have felt welcomed each time! The staff in there are lovely and the manager & manageress are 2 of the most friendly and pleasant people I have ever met! The food, though short on options is beautifully made and beautifully presented! I would fully recommend their burgers and their ploughmans!! See you all very soon!!

Thank Louise P

We have been here a few times very nicely decorated as it used to be dark and dismal
The staff and the people that run it are very friendly and provide a good service
The food is very good and a lot of it we as a family have had lamb shank .ribs. spicy chicken burger. bangers & mash and cheese burgers plus bun less burger all very good and worth a visit
We will definitely visit again
Downside for us is the traffic using rotherhithe tunnel Jamaica road can be a nightmare at certain times of the day

We visited the Ship Public House on a weekday lunch time , Excellent service and delicious food fantastic value. We sat in the back garden very clean surroundings. The Owner was very friendly. I was brought up in Rotherhithe and was born in St Mary's Church Street and married in St Marys Church. I now live in Kent and we often return to Rotherhithe which included eating and drinking at the the Ship!!! This pub offered much better food than the more famous riverside pubs in the area.

Lovely little pub to enjoy a lazy Sunday lunch in. Atmosphere was pleasant, plenty of (what we thought were) regulars using the pub, which is always a nice sign. We ordered 3 roasts and a scampi the roasts were delicious and plentiful. Couldn't resist the traditional deserts on offer either! Very nice way to waste a Sunday
