“Russell Sq. Area is an ideal location”

This was our 6th trip to London. We always stay in the Russell Sq. area and for the first time we opted for a stay in a flat. Now to be honest it was very compact, but most hotel rooms are no bigger. To book online thru Inez was no problem. We had a few inquiries and she always answered our emails the following day. When we arrived at the flat we were greeted by Andrew, the young porter. After giving us an electronic key fob and explaining the house rules he stated he or someone was on the premises 24/7 to respond to any of our concerns. Andrew was a very likeable guy and when we noticed there were no hair dryer or ironing board that were listed as amenities he got them right away! Now as far as the flat itself it was Ikea furnished. Everything was modern. We only had 2 chairs, a table and a double bed. The Wi Fi was good and always worked. A flat screen TV and cable were available. The appliances were an electric stove top, a tea kettle, a mirowave and a fridge. The en suite bathroom had a shower, sink and toilet. In the basement there were 2 washers and 2 dryers that were free to use (you provide the soap powder). The location of out flat was on the first floor facing the street and I was concerned about the noise, but it was not a problem after all. Any flat in the building would be o.k. There is a lift and the building was very quiet. Finally, two added bonuses for our stay was the tube was one short block away and the new Brunswick Centre was built since our last visit. At the centre is a cinema, a waitross supermarket, a starbucks and several restaurants and various shops. The neighborhood also has many places to eat as well.
I would stay here again, but next time we'd opt for a slightly bigger flat with a mini sofa.

“Clean, Modern, Convenient with Great Location & Service”

I stayed here for 10 days and it was an excellent base for my London trip. It is literally 30 seconds to the Russell Square Tube Station (Holborn Station is a short 10 minute walk away). The whole building has been recently rehabbed and the units are spotless, very modern and comfortable. The flats are typical of London (ie. very small). International travelers understand that a single is a 'twin' bed and a double is a 'full' bed. I was solo so both worked for me. There is 24 hr onsite concierge/porter/super and the letting agency is responsive, responsible and committed to making stay comfortable. English is not their first language so be prepared for some cultural and linguistic patience. Warning: Ask agency for their direct contact information as Trip Advisor is not an ideal mode of communication although it was easy and efficient for the availability and booking process.
Take a walk around the entire neighborhood to find many comforts like a large supermarket, parks, busses, pubs and even the British Museum. The agency does not provide any local information. There is FREE laundry on-site
I can't wait to rebook and travel 'like a resident, not a tourist'.
