“Lovely, light-filled oasis from which to explore London”
Reviewed 24 May 2017 for a stay in May 2017

Archer on Thames is a beautifully maintained, light-filled apartment on the top floor of the building (there's a lift which is a bit of a godsend when arriving with luggage - though only four floors!). Perfectly equipped and very comfortable in a nice neighbourhood. Battersea Square is a couple of minutes walk, with a great artisan baker, several restaurants and places for a drink. Supermarket and pubs are also close by. The Thames is across the road from the apartment, and there's a 170 bus in to town that runs every ten minutes or so. Clapham Junction is a short walk if you need mainline trains.

I was in London for a week of business meetings, and this was the perfect oasis to operate from. Annabel, the owner, simply couldn't have been more helpful. Highly recommended (I shall certainly stay again). It was nice to discover a new area of London too.

Great location, very central, easy access to transit. The river walk along the Thames is just across the street. Fantastic experience all around. We'll visit again !

“A comfortable flat in Battersea”
Reviewed 12 March 2017 for a stay in February 2017

This was a very well equipped, spacious flat with lots of natural light. It is on a bus route to central London, but not tube access. The owners were immediately responsive to items that needed attention.

The apartment has everything you need for a spacious, comfortable stay, with all the appliances and facilies you could need. The owners seems to have thought of everything, (e.g. there's even a phone charger available). If driving works for you there's a reserved parking spot.
There's a king sized bed in the bedroom and a sofa bed in the lounge (not used by us)
As for location, there's a bus which takes you to Victoria in one direction, and to Clapham Junction the other.
There's some good eateries withng 5 minutes walk, including a Gordon Ramsey restaurant.
For a pleasant Sunday morning try a walk along the Thames riverbank, round Battersea park, calling in at the Butcher and Grill for brunch.

“Comfortable home away from home in Battersea”

You can see the Thames river from the windows! And the Thames Path is just across the road. This is a clean, comfortable and well maintained one bedroom flat with plenty of space for two. It is in a secure building with a resident caretaker. There is lots of space for your clothes and suitcases. The kitchen is very well equipped and comes with a fridge/ freezer and a washing machine. Wifi is free and works well. The flat looks like its pictures, so there are no surprises.

Battersea is across the river from Chelsea and if you like walking you can get there in about 15 minutes. Staying at the flat is a great way to get comfortable using the London bus network. Buses go from outside the building to Victoria (where you can get to the Underground) or to Clapham Junction where you can get a train to just about anywhere in London and in southern England. There are lots of different restaurants within a short walk. If you want to do your own cooking, there is a Sainsburys and a Tesco Express within ten minutes walk and a very good Waitrose about twenty minutes walk away.

The owner answered all our questions before our stay and provided lots of advice about how to get to the flat. There is also loads of information about the buses, Underground trains and London attractions in the flat. If you are familiar with London, or are on a return trip to London, this is a great place to stay.
