We are so sorry to hear that your experience with us was not a great one! At Megan's we want to ensure that we are always delivering friendly & attentive service; & fresh & delicious food, so we're disappointed to hear that we fell short of our usual standards during your visit.
Because we want to ensure we are providing our guests with the best experience we can, our team are encouraged to make suggestions of dishes that they feel would go well with your order. We're sorry that the team member that served you made this feel as if they were continually upselling to you. This is not the experience we would like to provide our guests, nor is it the intention behind our team's recommendations!
Being dog friendly is at the core of who we are & what we do, we're sorry to hear that this is not something you enjoy. We do try to reserve certain areas of the restaurant for guests who aren't such fans of dogs. That said, please let me assure you that this is in no way jeopardises any of our restaurant's Food Hygiene rating. We use a third party called Alert 65, who are leading food safety experts to conduct training, audits & inspections company-wide, & our Kingston team have passed their most recent audit to a very high standard!
