fantastic property, spacious, modern (loved the back of a mini 2 seater), well equipped, good transport links, very quiet at night, fabulous views over the olympic stadium, travelled as family of 4, generally stay in apartments when doing city breaks and to date this has been the best. 2 tips , if not been there before would get a taxi from stratford if using DLR as signs not great, otherwise is just a short walk from pudding lane DLR station, don't be put off by the street art, it changes quite a bit and some of it was quite good. Lastly owner, John, could not have been more helpful especially when we were delayed at london city airport on arrival and didn't arrive until after dark.

“Fantastic welcoming apartment”

Stayed here with our family of five and we were all delighted with both apartment and location. The owner was always friendly and approachable, from the initial booking a year ago, to after our stay. We were travelling down from Scotland by train and he put us in touch with a lovely taxi driver who picked us up from Kings Cross (our own tour guide!) and arranged return ride. Looking at Olympic stadium and walking around the canal and Queen Elizabeth Park was special. Plenty of food choice in the nearby Westgate shopping centre. Local shop was just minutes from the apartment. Handy for milk and bread. Apartment was in a quiet block (considering we were in London) and the corner view was brilliant. Lots of building work going on around Stratford but no noise to be heard from it all in the apartment. In fact we passed some of the same workers everyday on our travels and always got a "hello". Getting around London was easy from here. I cannot rate this apartment highly enough: clean, spacious, well-maintained, well-equipped, modern without being fussy.

“Great Apartment with character and quirkiness”

Myself and 2 friends stayed here for 2 nights as a base for the London Marathon. Whilst I didn't speak to the owner verbally, everything was taken care of, from booking to closing the door and handing the keys back.

The apartment itself has great views of the Olympic stadium, which gives a bit of sentiment for the challenge that lay ahead at the Marathon. Must have worked as we did great times!!

The apartment itself had everything you needed so didn't really need to bring any extra towels, linen, utensils etc.. all covered. Also has some unusual if not quirky pieces of ornaments in the Apartment, adds to the uniqueness of this apartment.

I would say that if you are looking for a base that has easy access to the Olympic stadium and London itself, then this is great. To get to London, you take the 10 min walk from the Apartment along to Pudding Mill Lane over-ground station to Stratford. This is where the Westfield Shopping Centre is and worth a visit. From here you can then take the train to a number of lines to Central London.

Worth a visit and enjoyed, if and when I do return to London for a short stay then definitely worth a return.

“Nice appartment interesting location”

This appartment is nice and spacious. The price may be a little on the expensive side, but it was a really nice appartment, everything worked and the owner was very helpful. The beds, however, were quite small and not suited for tall persons. The weakness is the location, which is some diatance from the center and major tourist sites. On average it took us 45 minutes to go to the center by public transport, and there is only a few restaurants in the neighborhood. On the other hand the location is intersting by it self; it is an area with lots of artists/alternative lifestyle.

Travel speed: Stratford station is 11 minutes to Bank Station according to Transport for London website.
Expensive: This website charges more commission than any other.
Beds: Are UK doubles. It's a trade-off – either extra large beds or more space in bedrooms. Most guests prefer more space.
Tourist sites: Olympic Park, Europe's largest shopping centre & Victoria Park are on your doorstep.
Restaurants: There is about 50 within 1 mile. I supply a PDF of local restaurants.
Things to do: Ranked 94% for local entertainment by independant website PlaceILive.
Travel links: Stratford is 2nd most connected station in London. Ranked 90% for local entertainment by independant website PlaceILive.

“Excellent location”

The unit was located well to transport but still in a quite area. Large enough for an adult family to get along for 9 days, en-suite a must. All amenities required for a longer stay than usual, cooking , washing and drying. John was great with info and recommendations for getting around. Don't go to local supermarket, just catch the train to Stratford Westfield and go to M&S for provisions far cheaper. Only a couple of suggestion is bins in all rooms and not just the small one in the kitchen and the main bed to be upgraded to something a bit higher, us olds found it hard to get out of.
