I can't believe some of the low reviews our experience was amazing, the food flavours were so good and the quality of the food was excellent, the only small disappointments were that the temperature heat of the food could have ben hotter and that the non alcoholic cocktail I had tasted very watery due to the amount of ice in there but these small points didn't take away the enjoyment of the meal.
The decor was stunning as they all were and we found this branch to be more relaxed, had a lovely feel to it and the background music was just right.
I would definitely recommend and would return

We went with friends to celebrate my partner’s 50th birthday. Positives are that the decor is stylish, it’s got a buzzy atmosphere, and most importantly the food is of a good standard.

However, it is let down by average service and the constant feel that you are being rushed. We tried to build a rapport with numerous waiters without any success.

We had a drink at the bar before going to our table (we were sat in the extended area in the corner despite booking 4 months in advance, we asked to be moved). They said they’d bring the drinks over, it took 15 mins and 3 requests to receive my partners drink.

The white wine was served warm, so ask for lots of ice.

A waiter dropped a glass which smashed by our feet, there was a large amount of shattered glass on the floor. You’d expect an apology from a manager, or even to receive a complementary item, but it was all dealt with rather casually.

As soon as we finished our mains a manager appeared to inform us that our allocated time was up and that we needed to pay and leave. We asked for desert, and another bottle of wine, to celebrate a 50th birthday but it was a stern no. Surely they could have accommodated us somewhere else, or at least tried? She hovered over us and it all felt very pressured.

The atmosphere turned even more tense when we informed them that we weren’t paying the service charge, it was very uncomfortable and lacked any warmth. There were no niceties, maybe ask us how the food was or acknowledge that it was a birthday?

It was a shame to have such a rushed and stressful 50th birthday celebration.

Massively disappointing. Service very poor, food poor, decor great. Expensive so avoid. All hype.

Service - well maintained courses came. And about 5 minutes later came the sides. All meant to come at once obviously

Pouring champagne is not that hard, but clearly our waitress was not trained HL and had no idea. Fizzed all over the table. She had never tilted a glass before.

Food very average.

The so called wagyu beef skewers were not wagyu beef. Pretty tasteless. Go to sticks and sushi - vastly superior there.

Duck salad - well Hakkasan can sleep at night. This was a salad with mayonnaise and a couple of bits of duck. Pointless.

Tempura was fine. Vegetables and prawn. No issues, but nothing special.

Sushi - well yellowtail, tuna, salmon all average at best. Better seriously at Itsu. And much better at somewhere like Sexy Fish. This was poor quality.

Black cod - fine. No issues
Pork belly / fine as well. Not special.
Robots chicken / fine but again nothing special.

Decor or a great. But this is a restaurant you go to to see beautiful people and be seen. If you want fine dining and great service you avoid. I won’t be back.
