Description: Drink in the atmosphere at Greenwich's favourite iconic pub.In Greenwich, you'll just want to drink in the historic atmosphere - and you'll want to drink in this grade I listed pub too once you've seen what it has to offer. Feast your eyes on our regularly changing specials and pub food classics, and choose (if you can) from our impressive array of speciality drinks. While The Gipsy Moth itself is a magnificent slice of history, its unique, comfy interiors make it the ultimate modern retreat away from the bustle of nearby tourist spots such as the Cutty Sark and Royal Observatory. Breakfasts served on Saturdays. Families welcome, back garden open 'til 9.30pm with side garden open all night long. Traditional pub service with the bar at the heat of the pub.

Great atmosphere in the pub and lovely gardens - lots of seating both inside and out. Order food at the bar and give your table number and lunch is there in 10/15 mins. Good menu and generous portions. I found the sourdough boule with marinated olives to share for 2 people was ample. The starters were also generous, so we had two starters to share - crisply calamari with spicy chilli sauce and avocado and prawn cocktail with marie rose sauce. Both were excellent and such good value; for the 2 of us, before drinks, under £10 pounds a head - unbeatable given the high standard of food and good service. I loved it and will definitely return

We visited the Cutty Sark just after Christmas and thought how inviting the Gipsy Moth looked. Found ourselves in Greenwich again - this time childless - so popped in for a drink. The exterior of the pub looks charming and has a snug but busy beer garden so we were disappointed when we got inside and could have been in a Wetherspoons. Not a great choice of cider and a rather dour chap behind the bar. We took our drinks outside and enjoyed the view. Undoubtedly this pub is in an amazing location.

My partner and I stopped for drinks on a sunny afternoon and sat out in the garden overlooking the Cutty Sark. A lovely pub, good prices and a great atmosphere where I’d have happily sat out in the sunshine all afternoon with a cold drink in my hand if we weren’t heading off to a gig. We didn’t eat but were tempted as the portions and food on offer we saw coming out to others, looked lovely.

The atmosphere was helped as England were playing - and won!! We had a few drinks and a meal and was well pleased! Prices were reasonable and the outside sitting area complete with TV's was very well attended. Great situation too, being adjacent to the Cutty Sark!

I'm a regular there.
It's a great pub with amazing atmosphere!
Always having an intersting selection of craft beers. The staff is great and friendly too.
The only "bad" thing is that the garden closes quite early. And it's slightly too overpriced...
