A very relaxed and reasonably price places, very long list of piZza but we enjoy a few appetizers, a caponata, an aubergines Parmesan and a bocconcini melted in tomato sauce, all excellent and the latest superb. We were very happy with the local sta maria beer (unfortunately from a can, a larger mug off tap would have been heaven). The San Gennaro pizza (a Neapolitan in name everywhere else) was great, soft dough and very fresh ingredients . Good service

Londoners, especially those living in and around Ealing, should consider themselves extremely lucky to have a Neapolitan pizza joint in their hood. Truly. Having been lucky enough to dine at several pizzerias in Naples and to experience the noise, flavors and sights associated with a meal in that chaotic city, once you step through the doors of Santa Maria, it's as if you've stepped off the streets of the southern Italian city.

Yes, the whole staff speaks Italian (with a Neopolitan accent). Yes, it is noisy and crowded. Yes, they have Italian beer on tap and lots of Italian wines to serve. It that delicious smell coming from a wood-fired oven? - why yes it is. Are there loads of people night after night enjoying their meals and having a great time, yes there are. It is authentic in every way and the pizzas and calzones reflect that. My advice, ignore the negative reviews, embrace the experience (either in the restaurant or the next-door bar) and enjoy a taste of southern Italy in west London.

Recently voted Best Pizza in London by Time-Out. A tiny restaurant (was only about 20 seats) but cute, all the staff are Italian - the chatter of Italian over pizza and carafe of wine honestly transports you to Italy.

But I have no-idea what the fuss is about!

I tried the Santa Margherita pizza, and it was simply ok! The tough is good, the tomato and mozzarella fresh and proper, cooked perfectly in a wood oven! Second pizza was little bit soggy and quite disappointed. I am a big pizza lover and was prepared for something wow.

The pizzas are huge, very reasonable (£6-£9) and the drinks are very well priced too. Prices are very competitive, and is excellent value for money.

No Coke or Sprite here just Pellagrino Limonata and Aranciata.

In the evenings, especially Friday, Saturday and Sunday, it is always full and you have to wait around 30 minutes until a table becomes available (it's not possible to make reservations). Therefore, the pub next door is quite convenient. A staff member will ask for your name and telephone number and give you a call as soon as the table is ready.

Passing almost every day this place and seeing ad ( few months already) about “looking for new staff” gives me to think about work condition in this place.

I recommend this place for taste of Italian pizza but believe me there are better places in London.

Definitely good place to have nice piece of pizza.

Considering the fact l m not a big fun of Napoletan italian style pizza, l gave to admit thag thc one l had at Santa Mariz was very good.... l could reckon the ingredients were fresh , well cooked and not thick in the middle.... place is very busy especially with take away.. There are not many tables so is better to book upfront. The homemade tiramisu' also was very nice l wish the portion was bigger.;)

There’s not many pizzerias in London who serve pizza with an Italian taste. They have a good oven there, Italian staff and that latin smile.
Grazie ragazzi!
