Had the American platter and calamari side. Food lovely, and the service was excellent! Glad we stopped in here! Would like to try the rest of the menu.

So on Wednesday 20th June myself, the hubster and 3 friends went to London to celebrate a birthday and had gone to the V&A and the Natural History Museum for a bit of Culture. We had decided to eat in London too, so after a few hours of history and the natural world we headed to Leicester Square for a bite to eat. We settled on Angus Steakhouse as we all fancied some meat (all 5 of us being carnivores). We sat outside as it was a lovely evening, ordered our drinks and then looked at the menu. It seemed that they were all the same price £16.95 unless of course you had fillet steak. I ordered chicken skewer, hubster and 1 friend order cheesy/bbq chicken 1 friend ordered gammon and birthday girl ordered rump steak. We waited about another 15mins for the drinks (all soft) and another 10 mins for our meals. Mine was very elaborate on a vertical skewer over a bowl of chips, the cheesy/bbq chicken arrived in a bowl and the gammon and the steak dish arrived on a plate as expected. Now the chips, hmmmm, vile no other word for them. They looked like the had been cooked, cooled then cooked again and burnt them, cooled again and served. They were soft and greasy. My chicken skewer had 4 pieces of chicken, a few slices of red onion and slices of peppers. Oh and a ramekin of melted butter, tasted ok, but for £16.95, it could of been a lot better. The cheesy/bbq chicken looked ok, but it was served over those vile chips again birthday girl liked her steak, but not the chips neither did our other friend who had the gammon. So for the price of £125.00 I would say to all that are thinking of going here, go a little further down the street to Bella Italia, so much better, and better value.

Whilst on a trip for my partners birthday we decided to visit here after scouring for a good steak house. We were not disappointed. Swiftly shown a table. Our server ozlem was polite and professional and gave us excellent service. Highly recommend the camembert for a starter. The pepper steak we had was cooked to perfection also. Nice atmosphere and perfect pre-theatre treat
